It was just a good pick for a quick layover in Portland with excellent value for money. The staff at the bar down in the lobby was friendly and filled my cup with ice, making my morning much better. Be aware that there are no glasses for drinks in the room.

Fun vibes and cool amenities
The room was super stylish and comfy. Loved the groovy shower and how we could jam out with the noise-canceling speaker. The complimentary drinks? Yes, please! My partner adored the bar with sushi too. Just wish the bathroom was a tad bigger. Def a fab stay though!

missingWrote a review on 17 Julindustrial decorvibrant atmospherethoughtful amenitiesnoisy environment
The hotel's design embraces a unique industrial vibe, and the lobby buzzes with vibrant activities, making it a fun spot to gather. Earplugs and noise machines are thoughtful touches for noisier neighbors, which can be a quirky addition to the atmosphere.
The rooms are particularly cramped, reminiscent of Tokyo's tiny accommodations. Walls are thin enough to ensure every nearby conversation feels like it's part of your own, and the shower design leaves much to be desired, with a half wall that invites splashes everywhere. Additionally, the elevators produce a constant high-pitch sound and the absence of basic amenities like mini-fridges and on-site dining options can be a hassle, necessitating trips to grab drinks or snacks.

Moxy Portland Downtown rocks with its industrial decor and clean rooms! Oh, and those nearby eats? Jake's Famous Crawfish is a must-try. Tim's hospitality made our stay feel like a local welcome, not just a hotel.
You can literally hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next to you. The soundproofing is questionable, with walls as thin as paper! Earplugs and a noise machine don’t cut the chaos from neighbors’ chatter.

missingWrote a review on 01 Julfriendly staffenergetic atmosphereunsafe environmentsmall roommissing amenities
The atmosphere offers a relaxed and energetic vibe, making it an enjoyable place to stay. Service stands out, with warm and friendly staff who genuinely make you feel welcome. However, the surrounding area felt unsafe with visible issues such as homelessness, and the lack of ice machines and microwaves in the room was disappointing. The room quality seemed budget-friendly and quite small, limiting overall comfort.
